Our Summer Camp program runs from June through August for student athletes ages (potty trained) 2 to 17. We strive to provide a fun, safe, enriching environment in our facility through use of our equipment, structured activities, crafts, and more.Qualified candidates must be comfortable working with children ages 2 to 17. Must be available some weekdays between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm from the months of June through August. Minimum availability of two days per week required.This is a seasonal job with the potential to turn into regular part-time work throughout the year.Summer Camp coaching responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitating games/crafts/activities with groups of children Enforcing safety rules Maintaining behavioral expectations of children; mediate conflict resolution Following a schedule and keeping camp attendees on schedule Talking to parents/guardians as needed in a kind and professional manner Staying engaged, always focusing on your students Helping to set, maintain, and enforce standard attire policies Desired Skills & Characteristics: Patient and passionate about working with children Has a friendly, upbeat, & enthusiastic attitude and approachable personality Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Comfortable being an kind but firm authoritative figure who will set boundaries with camp attendees to keep them safe and on track while having fun Salary Range: $16.00 to $22.50 per hourBenefits: Discounts on tuition & events for immediate family members Employee discount on Pacific Edge Pro Shop merchandise 2 free uniform apparel items upon hire and an additional free apparel item upon completion of a 60-day training probationary period iClass credits awarded annually for use towards our snack bar, Pro Shop merchandise, and services Crunch Fitness membership discount (upon eligibility) Access to supplemental insurance as well as a 401k plan (upon eligibility; restrictions apply) Full time employees are eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision Powered by JazzHR
